Apparently the largest ever hand-dug excavation in 
the world, this 1097 metres deep mine yielded over 
3 tonnes of diamonds before being closed in 1914.

The Asik-Asik Falls! (Philippines)

Newly discovered Asik-Asik falls in Barangay Dado, Alamada, 
North Cotabato attracts tourists which became one of the 
main attractions in the province.

Unlike any common water falls where water descends from a 
river or spring, Asik-Asik waters pours out from the rocks on 
a cliff as if curtains of water falling from the wall of rocks.

Mount Bromo is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif. 
The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in 
East Java, Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger 
Semeru National Park. Mount Bromo sits in the middle of a vast plain 
called the Sand Sea, a protected nature reserve since 1919. 
From inside the caldera, sulfur is collected by workers..

End of the World Scenario !?

This is a rare meteorological phenomenon called a 'SKYPUNCH'. 
When people see these, they think it's the end of the world. 
Ice crystals form above the high-altitude cirro-cumulo-stratus clouds, 
then fall downward, punching a hole in the cloud cover.
