Google Street View Now Shows You the Inside of Airports

Google Street View Now Shows You the Inside of AirportsSEXPAND
To make your holiday travels easier, Google Street View now takes you inside 16 international airports and over 50 train stations around the world. So don't worry about finding the baggage check using archaic methods like looking at signs. Now you can map it!
Google didn't stop at airports and train stations, though. Its latest Street View update also includes 16 museums and points of interest. You know, just in case you wanted to tour a life-size replica of a pirate ship or something. [Google]While the utility of these new transit hub tours remains to be seen, the new images are great for architecture geeks. After all, not everybody's a world traveler. In the same way that Google Street View lets you tour the canals of Venice or the Galapagos without ever stepping foot on a plane, you can now see what it would be like to get on a plane in some of the world's more interesting airports. You might not otherwise ever get a peek at the award-winning terminal in Madrid, designed by Antonio Lamela and Richard Rogers.
