These are the strangest and creepiest coincidences ever recorded in history
The Strangest And Creepiest Coincidence Ever Recorded Facts
Have you heard about the most strangest and the creepiest coincidence ever recorded? If no, then continue reading because this is going to send chills down your spine.
THE COINCIDENCE
On 5th December 1664, a ship sank in the Menai Strait off the coast of Wales and all the 81 passengers died except one man named Hugh Williams. Again on the 5th of December, 1785 a ship sank in Menai Strait sank along with 60 passengers and the only man who survived was Hugh Williams. Not only this, again on the same date of the year 1820, a ship sank in Menai Strait along with 25 abroad but only one survived, Hugh Williams.
A STRANGE STORY
It is actually strange that within a period of 200 years, three ships sink in the same place and the only person to survive is with the name Hugh Williams. However, modern researchers have their own points in this case and provide another explanation for this.
ANALYSIS
We have a small explanation for the coincidence.
1. Coast of Wales in the United Kingdom is a dangerous place for ships and several shipwrecks have been taking place here over the years.
2. Talking about the same date theory, December 5 and the period around that is a prime time for windy, stormy and a dangerous reason which automatically increases the risk of deaths in case of shipwreck and it is not that just the above-mentioned shipwrecks are the ones which took place there but other hundreds of shipwrecks too took place here.
3. Talking about the name, Hugh Williams is a kind of name is that very much common there as the Wales people find it a very pleasant one. And plus, there are no credible records that prove the point that the sole survivors in all the cases were named “Hugh Williams”.
HOAX OR MYTH
However, the mentioned points are an analysis of the story on the basis of simple facts. It is still not clear whether it is truly a strange coincidence or a hoax created. But nevertheless, it is an amazing story to tell and discuss. And to all the Hugh Williams out there, you may want to give a try for the sake of the correct information as chances are you may survive.
