You must not take pictures, do not buy condoms, do not access the international network and do not eat fast food.

Korean people should not wear blue jeans. If you are a tourist, this rule is not applicable, but it is best not to encounter the strange eyes of the locals, you should not wear this type of clothing. You can replace it with black jeans.

  Internet

In Korea, people can use computers but can only access the intranet. You cannot access wifi because simply there is no wifi here. International sites are also blocked, people can only access about 1,000-5,500 domestic websites. All kinds of tablets sold in Korea are made by China but have been removed the wifi and bluetooth features.

 Do not spend local currency.

Tourists must not use the local currency of Korea. Visitors can only buy goods in their own shops, where you can pay in euros, yuan, Korean won or USD but cannot use Korean money. And they are also restricted from buying anything at local shops.

 Bicycle with sea

In Korea, those who own a vehicle are certainly very wealthy and powerful because their cost is very high and not everyone can buy it. Even a bike is expensive and rarely seen on the road. All bicycles have license plates, just like cars. Most people use public transport such as subway or bus.

Can not find old newspapers, foreign newspapers.

You cannot find a newspaper that was printed a few years ago, even in a library. Foreign newspapers and magazines are of course banned from circulation. People and tourists can view newspapers daily because they are often posted on street signs or subway stations without buying..

No international calls.

Mobile phones are not too rare in North Korea as before. However, locals are not allowed to make calls to foreign countries or even to foreigners in this country. All SIM cards only allow domestic calls.

No heater, heating system
There is no heater system in Korean families, if they want to take a warm bath they often go to public baths. They also do not have a heating system, so to warm the house, people still use wood-burning furnaces, even in Pyongyang, as the country has many problems with power supply.

 Do not sell Coca Cola

Before 2015, only two countries around the world banned Coca Cola from Cuba and Korea. When this drink is finally allowed to be sold in Cuba, North Korea is the only country that does not sell this globally famous drink.

Only routes to Russia and China.

Korean citizens cannot buy international air tickets to fly to another country for vacation. Not because it is expensive but because this action is prohibited. Even domestic travel is controlled, if people want to visit relatives in other villages, they must receive permission before departure. However, there are a few people who can go abroad to earn money, but the destination is only Russia and China.

 No Mc Donald.

This world famous fast food brand is also banned in Korea. People in this country prefer traditional food in kiosks
along the way. The popular dish here is kimchi.

Do not talk to local people

Foreigners are not allowed to take photos or even talk to local people without specific permission. Local citizens will not be imprisoned if they communicate with international guests but they will have to receive investigation so to avoid inconveniences, they will refuse to talk to you.

 Foreigners must not take photos.

You must not take pictures of anything around, whether human or landscape. The tour guide will stop it in time if you violate this rule. Especially when taking photos of military buildings. Even at the exit door, if you receive a report about your photography, the security officer may ask you to take the camera and delete the images.

Can not buy condoms and tampons

Condoms are not found in stores in Korea like other countries and their purchases only take place in the black market and are not popular. Tampon sanitary pads are similar.

Only cut hair according to the pattern.

At local hairdressers, you can find samples of hair and can only be cut according to these predetermined styles. The most popular hairstyle here is the hairstyle of country leader Kim Jong-Un. For women, some of the actors' hairstyles are also included in the standard model.
